Become a RESOLVEit Hero and join the RESOLVEit Young Ambassador Initiative

RESOLVEit’s Young Ambassadors are inspiring advocates of our mission statement

‘Everyone has the right to feel safe’

What is the role of a Young Ambassador?

Young Ambassadors support RESOLVEit in a range of ways, usually by volunteering their time for 6 months by helping us to raise the importance of personal safety in their communities.

RESOLVEit’s easy-to-use platform Tuborial is designed to make the Ambassador Initiative easy.  With a simple navigation bar and a wide range of effective tools and features, as well as a full reporting suite, RESOLVEit’s Tuborial platform is designed to aid any workshop or school assembly.

Once trained and enrolled in the approved workshop(s) you will have immediate use of RESOLVEit’s online platform. Supported by online tutorials and videos, you can deliver personal safety assemblies or an event within your school or college using our online learning platform.

Who is a Young Ambassador?

Young Ambassador is a supported volunteer role for those who:

  • Complete a RESOLVEit e-Induction workshop

  • Can commit to 6 months, initially to deliver RESOLVEit’s message

  • Are aged between 14-19

  • Are in work, education, volunteering or training or have shown substantial progress with a significant long term challenge

How it works

The Young Ambassador aims to spread the RESOLVEit message by engaging continuously with their local school and community by running at least one event every school year.

Young Ambassadors will have training and access to RESOLVEit’s online resources and may host personal safety events in their school and in other community activities for 6 months.

The ambassadors are also well rewarded for their efforts. Firstly, once trained via our e-induction workshop, RESOLVEit will offer the most successful Young Ambassadors the opportunity to be enrolled, for free, into the L2 BTEC in Self Defence and Personal Safety. On passing the BTEC, learners will be able to deliver a selection of RESOLVEit’s workshops, joining our exclusive Ambassadors Initiative, open to only those who hold a self-defence qualification.

This may lead to a future you never knew existed. You could end up running paid workshops in your free-time or as a small start-up business!
