Our current life-skill packages respond directly to the Welsh Education agenda and meet the needs of learners aged 14+ in Wales, whilst addressing address the Social, Moral, Spiritual and Cultural (SMSC) development of learners.


Our Life Skills programmes have been written in line with the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) that follow the national credit transfer system for education qualification in England, Northern Ireland and Wales.


We focus on young people; people with disabilities; learning difficulties or limiting health conditions; those who are NEET or at risk of becoming NEET and those affected by poverty, social exclusion and lack of employment skills.


Our active, innovative pupil-centred teaching and learning strategies have been designed with an emphasis on:


  • Personal self-awareness 

  • Critical thinking 

  • Teamwork

  • Empathy and initiative

  • Empowerment and confidence

Entry 3 Award (9 credits)

  • Substance misuse: 3 Credits

  • Personal Skills Development through Physical Activities: 3 Credits

  • Healthy Lifestyles: 3 Credits

  • Understanding Substance Misuse: 2 Credits

  • Equality and Diversity: 1 Credit

  • Understanding Sexual Relationships: 2 Credits

  • Assertiveness Skills: 1 Credit

  • Resilience Skills: 1 Credit

  • Anger Management: 1 Credit

  • Anti-Bullying Awareness: 1 Credit

  • Understanding Relationships: 1 Credit

  • Understanding LGBT: 1 Credit
