Louise has an extensive background in the legal sector with experience in managerial, operational and compliance positions, as well as having founded and directed her own award-winning company.

Achieving a First-Class Honors degree in Criminology, Criminal Justice and Youth Justice, Louise is professionally trained as an ‘Appropriate Adult’ able to represent children and vulnerable adults detained in Police custody. While studying her degree, Louise volunteered with Youth Offending Teams responsible for matching and overseeing suitable interventions with children referred from the Youth Courts.

Louise is currently studying a Master’s in International Security & Risk Management and is investigating violence in schools for the dissertation thesis. Volunteering as a Senior Investigating Officer for the University of South Wales Cold Case Unit, Louise works alongside South Wales Police and other agencies to solve serious historical crimes.

As a mother of three young daughters and having studied crime, victims and society, Louise is passionate about empowering young people with the skills they need to keep themselves safe.
