It may seem like you are doing everything wrong and you’re constantly being yelled at but don’t worry, here’s 5 ways to stay out of trouble.
HACK #1: YOU DON’T ALWAYS HAVE TO DO WHAT YOUR FRIENDS DO
It is important to remember that you are your own person and just because your friends are doing something, it doesn’t mean that you have to. Your gut reactions are more important than you think, so don’t take them for granted!
HACK #2: RESPECT
Teenage life is hard, it feels like your parents and teachers are out to get you and you can’t do anything right. Before you get angry with your parents, remember that they were teenagers too and are only looking out for you. Being respectful to them could make all the difference to your home life.
HACK #3: LISTEN
You’ve got your teachers telling you to pay attention, you’ve got your parents telling you to work harder and you’ve got your friends telling you to come out with them-who do you listen to? The best thing to do is listen to what your parents and teachers are doing and think about how you can do those things then reward yourself once they are done by going out with your friends.
HACK #4: BE A TEENAGER
This may seem strange but you can save yourself so much trouble by just simply acting your age. Don’t try and hang around with 19 and 20 year old's from down the road, they wont be as good for you in the long run than your friends at school. Go out, have fun and enjoy being a teen!
HACK #5: BE CAREFUL WHO YOU TALK TO ONLINE
It will seem like you know everyone on your Snap Chat, but be cautious! Sometimes you will think you know who you’re talking to but it could be someone completely opposite to your expectations. This could not only lead to trouble for them but for you too if you aren’t aware.
