Making Easter fun for you and your children

With Easter fast approaching I am sure we are all looking forward to a well-deserved break!

But of course, there is the pressure now…to entertain!

Well, fear not because we have the perfect guide on how to keep your children occupied this Easter.

You could always build a temporary shelter and have a picnic in the garden or if the rain is really wet, you could picnic under the kitchen table!

Why not get the family together and have a bake-off? The internet is rife with easy and quick recipes for you and the family to make together. An Easter theme gives children the chance to be creative with their baking ideas and you can ask someone to do the judging at the end. If baking is not a strong point in your household, don’t worry! Why not try Easter crafts? You could try making ‘Egg Carton Spring Chicks’ or ‘DIY Bunny Party Hats’. Both of which can be found on the Good Housekeeping website.

All these arts and crafts are sure to entertain the kids but don’t forget to make sure you carry on the Easter theme throughout the house; an Easter tree with blown eggs hand painted by the family. You will have the perfect backdrop for a perfect family Easter picture. A perfect keepsake for your family Easter during a global pandemic, one to show the grandchildren.

If Arts and Crafts and Baking are not tempting you why not have a good old fashioned movie night? Peter Rabbit, Rise of the Guardians and HOP are all brilliant Easter Films guaranteed to bring the whole family together. Don’t forget the popcorn and movie snacks.

I hope this reminds you that while this Easter may be far different from Pre COVID times it can be just as special for your children. It is more important than ever to focus on what we do have this year and to make the absolute best of it.

Have a wonderful Easter from the Team here at RESOLVEit!
